Summary

Jobhop happened when I was looking for someone to work with me in my last business. The person I was looking for wasn't handed to me on a plate so I decided to go online and look for them. I learned that I could target someone, get to know them and they could get to know me and my company. I thought this was a better way to employ people, it made employment human, with huge benefits for everyone. ......................... As time went on I realised that businesses needed digital skills but they were going about it completely wrong. Many employers thought that Linkedin was the only platform to recruit from... The average age on Linkedin is 45years old, therefore young digital talent are not going to "hanging out" on Linkedin. Our digital generation thought Linkedin was stuffy and just business networking, not at all social. The digital generation hung out on Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, Reddit, Facebook, Snapchat , Weheartit, everywhere else but not Linkedin! We needed somewhere where companies and digital savvy talent could be transparent and social.

Lots of test drives and drinking way too much coffee! Commission only, hard work but really good fun.
