In case you’re not aware there’s now a book all about "The Social Jobseeker", written by me, Julie Bishop, head hopper at Jobhop.
There are books out there which explain how to use social media and there are some books which explain how to use social media when actively looking for a job. There aren’t many books that focus on the importance of being social whilst using social media to always be a passive jobseeker.

A candidate would rather get a job somewhere where they’ve already connected with the many people who work there, joined in discussions with them, where they’ve seen the company culture via video, periscope or blog posts and got to know the recruitment process.
