I’m absolutely loving Blab, it’s just a great way to really connect with people and find out so much about them. For the latest Jobhop Blab I had the pleasure to chat with Mark Wing, founder of Interrelated.co.uk and a personal branding expert.
Personal branding has been the topic for this month, we’ve already had Workandgo post a blog about the subject, as well as Anna De Vere who posted one about image.
During the blab Mark really delved into personal branding and gave everyone a thorough understanding of what it means to have a personal brand.
He gave us ideas on how to find our personal brand and told us how we mustn’t try to be something we’re not, because it just wont work. Mark’s three steps to a successful personal brand is mitigate, master and manage, he chats about each one of those and why they are so important. He also advises us to “find our why”, each one of us should know it, as well as that we must understand our promise, then make sure we deliver an experience which is in alignment with that promise.
The whole Blab was fascinating and you’ll be happy to hear that I recorded it from beginning to end! I’m getting better at hitting that record button now!
