6 seconds!! that’s all you’ve got to impress. When you submit a CV if it gets past the keyword tool you’ll then get the 6 second CV glance and if it goes further and you’ll get an interview, you’ll then have 6 seconds to impress as you walk in the door.
So we ask can Vine help jobseekers if all we have is 6 seconds to impress.
Vine the Twitter app allows you to create a video on your mobile and gives you exactly six seconds to do it it. Once you’ve created it you can instantly share it on Twitter.
I will remind you that getting your message into 6 seconds is a challenge & may take some practise, focus on what you want the employer/recruiter to take away from watching it.
Done well Vine can get you some attention, it’s then up to you to back it up with some substance e.g link back to your Jobhop profile, Linkedin profile, about.me or to your website/blog

Remember that simplicity is best, it’s not the best medium to try and communicate something difficult.
