When someone loves their job its just so blinking obvious, all the signs are there.
You’ll say to someone “I can see you love your job” and they’ll reply back with “is it that obvious?” ...err yes!
When you love your job it’s the best feeling ever because it really doesn’t feel like work, how can anything that you love and be passionate about feel like work, it just doesn’t.

So for the people who are absolutely besotted with their jobs, we know you are because these are the signs we see.
You get in early
This is an obvious sign that you love your job, you get there before anyone else, you’ve even mentioned that it would probably be easier if you just slept there, the funny thing is you wasn’t joking!
You’re the last to leave
Of course you’re the last to leave, you’re practically kicked out. Lucky for you there’s a great after work social life, so for three out of seven nights you still get to hang out with your work buddies, phew!
You’re proud to say where you work
When you’re asked you’re not only proud to say where you work but you then follow up with a pitch about the company, its mission and its vision, all said with a beaming smile!
You’re always recruiting
You love your job so much that you want all your friends to work there too. You know they would love it so whenever an opportunity arises you go through your friends list trying to match their skills to the job vacancy.
You have a Facebook work album
As well as the family album, Ibiza 2010 album, there’s the “fun at work” album. This has hilarious photos of you and your work buddies doing “work” whilst pulling funny faces and doing work with serious faces.
The album also includes photos of you and your work buddies on:
- Super Hero Day
- Halloween
- Wear a Christmas jumper to work day
- The Christmas party
- Charity cake day
- Bring your dog to work day .. That one was really funny because you’d borrowed your sisters dog because you didn’t have one!
- Your office Birthday celebration as well as all your work buddies birthday celebrations
Your Twitter Bio says “I love my job”
Dead give away this one, it’s there sneaked in between I love my cats and I love ice-cream. Sometimes it might even say your job title first, followed by I love my job, my cats and ice-cream. If your banner picture is of you outside your office, smiling with your work buddies then we know you’re smitten.
The other dead give away are your tweets, when you’re in love with your job they will always be about how much you love your job and all the stuff you get up to at work. This always makes other people who hate their jobs insanely jealous!
The good news is that recent research done by Brandwatch shows that more people tweet about loving their job than hating their job.
So it’s obvious that you love your job if you do any of the above! It's absolutely fine to feel a bit smug, you should because everyone wants to feel excited about going to work every day... It's the best feeling ever when you love your job!
